VPC PEERING
Jambo! How’s your week going? Mine’s fantastic, as I’m gearing up for a short trip to one of our beautiful cities here in Kenya. But before that, I wanted to take a moment to share some insights on a tech topic that’s both fascinating and highly relevant in today’s digital business world: VPC Peering.
VPC Peering is a service provided by AWS that allows two Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) to communicate with each other as if they were on the same network. This connection facilitates secure and seamless data transfer between VPCs without the need for an external internet gateway, making it an efficient and powerful solution for companies with complex cloud environments.

Here’s a real life example of what it is.
Let’s say there’s an online store called ShopX that runs its website using cloud services (like AWS). To keep things organized and secure, ShopX splits its online store into two separate networks, called VPCs (Virtual Private Clouds):
1. Frontend VPC: This is where the website itself is hosted. It handles everything that customers see and interact with, such as browsing products, adding items to the cart, and paying for orders.
